Alberto Lawn Care wants to assure all existing customers that we will be available and ready to perform all work throughout the summer season. Having family ties in both Italy and New Jersey, USA - Our founder Peter Alberto has had ample warning of the seriousness of the novel corona virus and has taken steps to ensure not only that he and his helpers stay safe and healthy - but also to ensure the health and safety of our clients through contact-less commerce.
ALC would like to offer assistance in this time to people in need. However, as a small company offering a service often not considered a real priority over bills and food - we are concerned of the financial strain that volunteering our service would entail. We are open to any ideas! please contact us at [email protected] with your suggestions.
All of our services are performed on your property but none of them require that we touch surfaces. All of our estimates, invoices, and payments are performed online or by e-transfer. (We do not accept cash or cheque for the foreseeable future). Our system even notifies you by email automatically once we mark your work as "complete" using our dispatch app!
Estimates rarely need an in-person visit for most basic services - we already use mapping software to measure multiple sections of your property to determine linear foot, square foot of lawn, square footage of paved areas, and we share these details with the customer along with their estimate - and all of this is done online without any in-person contact required. (Gardening tasks, hedge-trimming, and the like often do require an in-person visit but can be spent outdoors with plenty of space between us and the client).
Even our door hangars, which were produced in Canada, have been kept safe from contaminants and are distributed by Peter himself at this time. He takes great lengths to disinfect everything that touches these hangars including his hands. He knows there can be a serious danger to handing these out irresponsibly even though he has essentially quarantined himself solely to ensure the safety of his clients and hopefully the longevity of his company.
