Here's the typical business model: A company offers a product or service for the most they can sell it for and then (usually) try to find the least expensive people to market, sell, and deliver it. And if they can find it cheaper, they say they have a fiduciary responsibility to do it that way. What this does is create animosity in the workplace. It even seeps into media and often a topic brought up in social media. Why would or should someone work their hardest and give their best to a company that literally pays the least possible amount? In many workplaces it can sometimes become a sport to see how little they can perform (without getting fired of course) in exchange for this minimal wage. This doesn't make sense on the business end either - a company's quality suffers, staff are disengaged and bored, and customers notice. They also have a hard time keeping the quality staff they find simply from being tight fisted. Many a company has disappeared because the staff that handles customers simply doesn't care and has been given no reason to!
This is why we do not pay any wage.
Alberto Lawn care wants to offer more than a wage but in essence a share of our company! A dividend, even! Your residual commission will be a flat % of ALL revenue you bring in. Each closed client (on contract or not) becomes a permanent part of your portfolio with ALC. This means that - whether you find a client getting basic summer service or one that wants full premium year round curating - you get a percentage of every dollar from that client.
On top of this, we aren't trying to be sneaky and pay you less either! Industry standard for a sales job is a one-time commission of 5-6%. Alberto Lawn Care will pay you 8% and that will come monthly (for each payment we receive from the clients in your portfolio). This gives every ALC agent the potential to earn exponentially in comparison.
What we expect in return (besides sales results) for this are a few very simple things that usually only take a moment per client or can be done in bulk easily: - learn our streamlined software and innovative packaging - acquire new clients regularly and upsell to your portfolio clients seasonally - check on automatically generated invoices before sending them - follow up if clients are past due dates or call with a complaint (both very rare) - assist with scheduling, to make sure your customer will be happy.
As an ALC agent all of these are in your best interest anyway - not only acquire and retaining customers but to increase your paycheck while you help Alberto Lawn Care Grow. YOU check the invoices so you even know what you're being paid (and that we got paid)! Your growth means Our growth and that's a beautiful thing!

If a customer pays $100 per month (low, for round numbers), you get more than the standard $6 for the sale. You get 8 - Every Month, so long as the customer stays with us. This includes winter-only, summer-only, year-round, and also every additional service you upsell seasonally or they ask for directly. On top of that, we offer discounts to clients who refer new clients to you, so - again - our growth means more in your pocket!
Our Packaging is flexible & competitive
On-Site Estimates: We offer free online estimates - they are easy to do and often done by the customer themselves - but we don't go in person unless they pay a $50 fee. This fee is later used as credit if they decide to hire us over our competitor. There are many reasons we charge this fee - but even if they don't take us on you still get a credit for this on-site charge. Someone paid, someone worked, you brought in the customer so you get a cut. Base: We offer packaging a Pay-As-You-Go, retainer-based service. It is a great foot in the door that we use mid-season to pick up clients unhappy with their current provider AND for people who need temporary help during periods of illness or absence. Seasonal: We offer basic weekly mowing, and reliable snow clearing on a monthly rate (paid up front). Our workers will note if the lawn needs fertilizer or weed spray, extra salt or ice scraping so you can offer it to the customer and increase revenue. Premium: We offer tailored service as needed. Such as fertilizer, weed spray, cleanups and treatments, hedge trimming, and more. In the winter we also have some extra service that customers find valuable that are not offered in the basic snow clearing (like ice scraping, free salting) Summer-12: For premium customers who do not need snow clearing, we offer to spread their payments over 12 months instead of 6, further motivating customers as the cost feels like half the price, making a full and curated property more affordable to them (and also ensuring that you and our staff have revenue year-round from this customer). We also, of course, offer seasonal cleanups, lawn treatments, and other one-time services. We have something for every kind of client out there, and plans specifically designed to entice customers to value our services and increase the level of service over time.
